For High School Students
Case Competition
Our Annual School of Business Case Competition students will be asked to develop, as part of a team or individually, a plan to sell a new product (the product is completely fictional). The competition will involve some internet research, a presentation, and an interview. Awards will be given to individuals based on their performance and scholarships will be given to the top participants.
School of Business Day
Our Annual School of Business Day is an entire day dedicated to high school students interested in majoring in business. During the day you will experience guest speakers, a mock lecture, alumni panel, a catered lunch, and a campus tour. You must RSVP for this event as space is limited.
For Current UIndy Freshmen
Skyline Club
Skyline Club is a fun networking event to kick off the school year for our on campus freshmen during Welcome Week. They are given the opportunity to meet School of Business faculty and staff as well as student leaders in the School of Business. You must RSVP for this event as space is limited.
Meet the Professors
This event is a one of a kind event where the students are given an opportunity to talk with current UIndy professors and student leaders. The professors will provide helpful tips and tricks to navigate your way through your first year at college and the student leaders will talk about campus life, clubs and organizations, and answer any questions you may have. You do not need to RSVP as it is a required event during Welcome Week.
Executive Roundtable Discussion
Executive Roundtable Discussion is a unique event where you will be served dinner and participate in a discussion lead by Dr. Will. The discussion topic will be told to you in advance but no prior knowledge is needed in order to participate.
Future Leaders Dinner
This event is a special invite only dinner where you will be given the opportunity to come network and participate in a formal dinner. Students are instructed to dress in business professional and bring their business cards to network with their classmates and professors.
Biz in the Park
Come join in on the fun! This event is held in Schwitzer Park behind Schwitzer Student Center. Join us for a bonfire, s’mores, corn hole, volleyball, basketball, and an ice cream bar!
